So I know this post is a little bit of a delay, but I’ve been meaning to write about this awesome bloggers event that I went to for Halloween! I’ve just been so busy for the past few weeks – with my birthday, my dad’s birthday and preparing for Thanksgiving. As you can see, November has been quite a busy month for me!
My friend Jacqui and I went to an event where a bunch of local bloggers come together to do a wine and paint night at Pinot’s Palette in Glen Mills, PA. The hostesses there were very accommodating. They provided us glasses for our BYOB and set up our personal paint stations labeled with our names.
Our goal was to paint this witch picture, which is very suitable for the Halloween weekend. With the helpful guidance from the lovely instructor, I have to say that Jacqui and I successfully painted the witch pretty well! As you can see, our paintings truly reflected personal traits of ourselves! LOL.
I’ve done my own wine and paint night at home before with my cousins (interests in arts & crafts just runs in my family), but I’ve never attended to one of these BYOB paint shops! If you’re ever interested in attending one, you should definitely give it a try. Just the atmosphere of being served and being able to socialize with other people make it all fun! To do one, you basically have to check out their calendar schedule of paintings, pick which date and painting that best suits you and your friends, show up with your own alcohol and paint!
Since it’s Thanksgiving today, I have to say that I am grateful that Jacqui invited me to come with her to this event! She is also a talented blogger as well – Love that she shares her life events, fitness advice and recipes in such a creative way!
